JMT in 2011

OK, let's get this thing going again. Ron proposed the idea of doing at least a portion of the John Muir Trail in the summer of 2011. He and I will turn 40 by then, so this would be our "midlife crisis." Of course, we need to get in shape so it doesn't turn into a true crisis....

I would like to think we could take about 10-15 days and do half  of the 211 miles if we really put our mind to it. If we start at the north end, I'm not sure where that puts us. I hope it works out. What do you think?

Ol Grizz, I know you said you were interested in at least joining for some of the adventure. A ride to the hot tubs after would be fantastic!
